1. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order, contacting us through WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger, or otherwise engaging with Shroom, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not proceed with a purchase.

Shroom reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be communicated through our official Facebook page and/or website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. About Shroom

Shroom is a food technology brand based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, specializing in premium instant mushroom-based food products. Our flagship products — Cream of Mushroom Soup and Mushroom Thai Soup — are produced in small batches to maintain the highest quality standards. Shroom is a direct-to-consumer brand operating primarily through Facebook, WhatsApp, and its official website.

3. Products

3.1 Product Descriptions

We make every effort to accurately describe our products, including ingredients, nutritional information, serving sizes, shelf life, and preparation instructions. Minor variations may occur due to batch production. Product images are for illustrative purposes and may slightly differ from the actual product.

3.2 Availability

All products are subject to availability. Shroom reserves the right to discontinue, modify, or limit the sale of any product at any time without prior notice. In the event a product becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will notify you promptly and offer a full refund or an alternative product.

3.3 Shelf Life & Storage

Products must be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. No refrigeration is required until opened. Once opened, we recommend consuming within 30 days. Shroom is not responsible for quality issues arising from improper storage by the customer.

4.1 How to Order

4.2 Order Confirmation

Your order is confirmed only after you receive a confirmation message from our team via WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger. Receipt of an advance payment alone does not constitute order confirmation. Shroom reserves the right to decline any order at its discretion.

4.3 Advance Payment

An advance payment of BDT 100 may be required at the time of order placement to secure your order. This amount will be deducted from the total invoice. The remaining balance is payable upon delivery (Cash on Delivery) or via digital payment methods.

5. Pricing

All prices are listed in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT). Shroom reserves the right to change product prices at any time. The price applicable to your order is the price confirmed at the time of your order placement. Special launch offers or promotional discounts are time-limited and may be withdrawn without notice.

6. Payment

We accept the following payment methods:

• Cash on Delivery (balance after advance)

Shroom is not responsible for failed or delayed transactions due to issues with third-party payment platforms. In the event of a disputed payment, please contact us directly with your transaction reference number.

7. Delivery

7.1 Delivery Areas

• Dhaka: Typically 1-2 business day
• Outside Dhaka: 2–4 business days

7.2 Delivery Timeline

Orders are processed and dispatched within one (1) business day of confirmation. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to courier operations, public holidays, or other unforeseen circumstances. Shroom is not liable for delivery delays caused by third-party courier services.

7.3 Failed Deliveries

If a delivery attempt fails due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, or if the customer is unavailable to receive the order, the customer will bear any additional re-delivery charges. Repeated failed delivery attempts may result in order cancellation without refund of the advance payment.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use our products, services, or communication channels for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to:

• Placing fraudulent orders
• Providing false delivery information
• Harassing or abusing our team members
• Reproducing, reselling, or distributing our products without written authorization

9. Intellectual Property

All content associated with Shroom — including the brand name, logo, product names, marketing materials, social media content, scripts, and website design — is the exclusive intellectual property of Shroom. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of any Shroom intellectual property is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Shroom shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our products or services. Our maximum liability in any dispute shall not exceed the purchase price of the product(s) in question.

Shroom makes no medical claims about its products. Nutritional benefits referenced in marketing materials are for informational purposes only and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Please consult a qualified healthcare professional before using our products if you have any medical condition or dietary restriction.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
